Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional knowledge in pharmaceuticals, including medication therapies and patient counseling. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing consultations to patients, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in patient care and medication management. Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe dispensing of medications while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Interact with healthcare teams to address patient health issues.
• Evaluate patient medication histories and provide therapeutic advice.
• Support clinical trials and pharmaceutical research when necessary.
• Advise on regulations and impacts of medications on health.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the pharmacy.
• Contribute to team meetings and suggest areas for improvement.
• Be involved in procurement and management of pharmaceuticals.
• Facilitate training for new pharmacists and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or Health Sciences is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience directly related to pharmacy practice
