Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components with a focus on efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Assist in patient consultations and provide medication management advice.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of pharmacy equipment.
• Ensure accurate labeling and storage of medications.
• Assist with training new pharmacy staff.
• Participate in community health events and outreach.
• Contribute to a positive pharmacy culture and work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy environment

• Pharmacy Council Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages
