Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist in Durban, you will be responsible for overseeing medication dispensing and providing patient consultations. Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy while contributing to a patient-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns in daily operations.
• Evaluate patient medication history to identify potential issues.
• Advise healthcare professionals on the selection of appropriate therapies.
• Conduct clinical assessments to prioritize patient care needs.
• Generate reports on medication usage and effectiveness.
• Support pharmacy financial management and patient billing.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
• Facilitate workshops on medication safety and awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Advanced diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy
