Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our Durban clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for animal care, striving to provide the best treatment for our furry patients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff, contributing to our mission of excellent veterinary service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat various animal conditions effectively.
  • Perform routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
  • Educate clients on animal care and health management.
  • Work with the team to enhance clinic procedures and practices.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for animals and their owners.
  • Contribute to the training of new veterinarians and interns.
  • Assist in conducting health campaigns and clinics in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary surgery and care
