We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patient progress and response to treatments.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support patient admissions and discharges processes.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nursing license valid in South Africa

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in hospital-based nursing

Technical Skills

• Critical Care Nursing
• Infection Control

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities in English and Afrikaans: Skills in speaking both English and Afrikaans fluently.
• Experience in trauma care nursing: Practical experience in managing trauma patients in emergency situations.
