Job Description

As a Veterinarian at Compassionate Veterinary Care, you will play a crucial role in the health and happiness of pets in the Pretoria community. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating animal illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper care. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment protocols for pets.
  • Perform routine health checks and preventative care services.
  • Conduct interviews with pet owners to gather medical histories.
  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care and support for pet owners.
  • Implement new treatment techniques and approaches.
  • Build and maintain client relationships based on trust and compassion.
  • Participate in veterinary outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of the clinic's patients.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
  • Document and review case histories to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Additional certifications in veterinary specialties are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience is preferred
