Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and creative Event Coordinator to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and executing events, both large and small. You'll play a vital role in delivering memorable experiences, coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging event layouts and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct regular updates and progress reports to clients.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for event attendees.
• Utilize event management software for scheduling and logistics.
• Supervise event staff and volunteers to maintain a high standard of service.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies.
• Oversee the procurement of event materials and supplies.
• Evaluate event success against benchmarks and client feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Communications
• Certification in Event Planning is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in event coordination

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
