Transportation Planner

Job Description

As a Transportation Planner, you will focus on evaluating transportation systems and proposing solutions to improve safety and accessibility. We are looking for an innovative thinker who can contribute to our mission of creating sustainable transport networks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to inform planning decisions.
• Design transportation models to predict future needs.
• Manage multi-disciplinary project teams on various planning projects.
• Assist in the development of strategic transportation initiatives.
• Review proposed transportation projects for feasibility and impact.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure plans align with construction capabilities.
• Advise on public transport system enhancements and efficiencies.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Conduct field surveys to gather primary data.
• Prepare environmental assessments for transportation projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in transportation planning

• GIS Software

Certifications

• Professional Transportation Planner (PTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
