We are on the lookout for a skilled Tax Specialist to join our talented team in Durban. The role involves analyzing financial information and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with all legislation. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for advising clients on tax planning strategies and assisting them with audits and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare complex tax returns and financial reports.
• Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Ensure timely submission of returns and compliance with tax laws.
• Conduct regular training sessions for clients on tax compliance.
• Assist in the development of internal compliance policies.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure tax efficiency.
• Help clients navigate audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain portfolio of clients and build strong professional relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Honours degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in tax consultancy or related roles

• Professional Tax Practitioner (SA)
