We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Newcastle team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing a variety of structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Review and modify architectural plans and specifications for structural soundness.
• Utilize software tools for structural analysis and design.
• Facilitate project meetings and document progress for stakeholders.
• Analyze the impact of different construction materials and methods.
• Prepare risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in building regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is recommended

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on structural design experience

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in BIM technologies: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for collaborative design.
