We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing mechanical systems and components for various projects. This role demands both creativity and technical expertise, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modifications to existing mechanical systems.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure product quality.
• Ensure all designs meet safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess project progress.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies into designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in mechanical design or structural engineering
