Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Public Relations Officer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing PR strategies, engaging with media contacts, and managing public perception. This position also involves crafting press releases, organizing events, and enhancing our client's visibility in the market.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement communication strategies for clients.
• Act as a liaison between the client and media representatives.
• Evaluate client needs and tailor PR initiatives accordingly.
• Develop crisis management plans to mitigate negative publicity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and news relevant to clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a PR role, agency experience preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
