Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Pretoria as a Demand Planner, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will analyze trends and forecasts to drive supply chain efficiency, ensuring we meet customer demands consistently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate historical data and market conditions to create accurate demand plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement and sales teams.
• Prepare and present inventory assessments and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Implement systems and processes to enhance demand forecasting efficiency.
• Analyze product lifecycle and manage phase-ins and phase-outs effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
• Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
• Support the Head of Supply Chain in strategic decision-making and planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
