Job Description

The Business Development Director will be crucial in identifying and developing new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a visionary leader who can create and implement strategies to enhance business growth and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically analyze market trends to identify new business prospects.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies in partnership with the marketing department.
  • Strengthen client relationships through effective communication and feedback mechanisms.
  • Lead negotiations with stakeholders to build favorable agreements.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment between client needs and offerings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, quality, and ethical standards in all business dealings.
  • Utilize CRM tools to monitor client interactions and optimize sales processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for the sales team.
  • Prepare regular reports for the board detailing progress against goals.
  • Act as a public representative of the company at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior business development role
