Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to manage our property operations in Port Elizabeth. Your focus will be on ensuring the facilities meet all safety and operational standards, while also implementing maintenance schedules and managing budgets effectively. You will play an essential role in enhancing tenant experience through effective facility management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fleet management initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Supervise the team responsible for vehicle maintenance and logistics.
• Conduct performance evaluations for fleet staff.
• Implement tracking systems to optimize fleet operations.
• Manage fleet-related budgets and forecast future needs.
• Ensure all contracts with vendors are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Assist in the negotiation of service contracts for fleet services.
• Collaborate with IT to implement fleet software solutions.
• Review and update policies and procedures for fleet management.
• Lead safety initiatives and training for fleet operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in fleet operations or logistics management
