Job Description

As a Masonry Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures from bricks, stones, and concrete. We require a detail-oriented professional who can interpret blueprints and work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specifications.
  • Perform structural assessments and repairs as necessary.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Document work progress and report to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct safety inspections of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the worksite and proper disposal of materials.
  • Support the training of new team members and apprentices.
  • Engage with clients to interpret their needs and expectations.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Diploma in Construction Management is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in masonry and construction.
