Construction Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects. From planning through execution, your role will focus on meeting project milestones while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the construction phases.
• Develop strategies for addressing site challenges and logistical issues.
• Oversee procurement and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction management or related roles

• Construction Planning

Certifications

• Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Project Management Software: Experience with software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
