Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate diploma in Family Medicine or similar qualifications

Experience

• 3-5 years in general practice or family medicine

Technical Skills

• Emergency Medicine
• Preventive Care

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local health policies and regulations: Understanding of healthcare systems and regulations in South Africa.
• Training in chronic disease management: Experience in managing patients with chronic illnesses.
