Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Mental Health Counselor to join our supportive team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering individualized therapy, providing mental health assessments, and supporting clients in achieving their wellness goals.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques to assist clients in overcoming barriers to mental health.
  • Engage clients in goal-setting to track their progress.
  • Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for client development.
  • Conduct workshops on mental health topics to enhance community knowledge.
  • Support clients in navigating social services and community resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology
  • Professional certification in related fields is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of counseling experience, especially in mental health settings
