Pharmacist Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will assist in dispensing medication, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient support.
• Monitor inventory and assist with the ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions and prescriptions.
• Assist in patient education regarding medication therapies.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Participate in pharmacist-led community health initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Assist in troubleshooting medication-related issues.
• Foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation / Grade 12
• Certificate in Pharmacy Assistance or relevant qualification

Experience

• Experience in retail or customer service is an advantage
