Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the project management team to execute projects on time.
• Create concept sketches and preliminary drawings.
• Lead design review sessions with stakeholders.
• Research materials and sustainable practices.
• Oversee the construction process and ensure quality control.
• Assist in contract administration and negotiations.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations of completed projects.
• Prepare and present project proposals to clients.
• Engage in community outreach related to architectural projects.
• Integrate smart technologies into architectural designs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture
• Registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp

• Communication
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
