Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing medication therapy, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your expertise will contribute to improved patient outcomes and the ongoing success of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear and accurate information regarding medications to patients.
• Review prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Implement health screenings as per established protocols.
• Manage and lead pharmacy staff in daily operations.
• Initiate safety protocols to prevent medication errors.
• Engage with community health initiatives to promote wellness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy

• Certification in Good Pharmacy Practice

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
