Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire supply chain process in our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics and procurement, with the ability to drive efficiency and reduce costs across operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance the supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with production and sales teams to forecast demand.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation throughout the supply chain.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
• Develop training programs for supply chain staff.
• Monitor and report on supply chain KPIs.
• Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Seek innovative solutions to improve supply chain processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar area
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant supply chain experience

• ERP Software
• Data Analysis

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and data visualization tools: Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
