In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring daily logistics operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and improving operational efficiencies. You will work closely with suppliers, transporters, and stakeholders to facilitate the seamless movement of products.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and scheduling of shipment operations.
• Organize transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets for logistics activities.
• Gather and analyze logistics data to inform decision-making.
• Liaise with external transport companies to coordinate shipments.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key transport and logistics partners.

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Familiarity with enterprise resource planning tools for logistics.
• Knowledge of South African transport regulations: Understanding of local transport laws and compliance requirements.
