Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Cape Town. The selected candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients, assisting in their recovery and wellbeing. Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Ensure that the facility maintains a safe and sterile environment.
• Contribute to healthcare team initiatives for patient safety and quality.
• Perform routine procedures and assist in surgeries when required.
• Support the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all nursing practices.
• Advocate for patient's health and wellbeing throughout their treatment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
