Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Cape Town. The selected candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients, assisting in their recovery and wellbeing. Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure accurate documentation of nursing interventions and patient progress.
• Educate patients about preventive care and wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training.
• Manage patient records, adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
• Assist with specialized procedures as required.
• Provide comfort measures and reassurance to patients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus
