We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals. This role involves examining, diagnosing, and treating animals, as well as advising owners on pet care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and diagnostics for various species.
• Oversee surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Engage with pet owners to devise health care strategies.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal health.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and adhere to health standards.
• Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately.
• Support the training of junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications in specialized fields are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital

• Animal Behaviour Understanding
• Anaesthesia Management

• Advanced Surgery Certification
• Pet First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
