Job Description

As a Veterinarian in Bloemfontein, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues. You will work collaboratively with pet owners and veterinary technicians, focusing on preventative care and treatment planning to improve animal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine medical care and treatment to animals.
• Perform surgeries and assist with emergency procedures.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as required.
• Maintain health records for all patients attended.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure quality care.
• Educate pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and wellness.
• Conduct examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster trust.
• Stay consistent with veterinary best practices and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Licensure as a veterinarian in South Africa

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in veterinary practice preferred
