Job Description

As a Veterinarian in Bloemfontein, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues. You will work collaboratively with pet owners and veterinary technicians, focusing on preventative care and treatment planning to improve animal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate animal health through physical examinations and diagnostic work.
• Consult with pet owners about treatment options and pet care.
• Develop treatment plans based on diagnoses and client feedback.
• Collaborate with specialists when advanced care is required.
• Participate in local community events to promote animal health.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Conduct follow-up care and reevaluate patients as needed.
• Stay updated with veterinary medicine trends and advancements.
• Advocate for animal welfare in the larger Bloemfontein community.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Advanced certifications in exotic animal care (considerable advantage)

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical practice
