UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience in crafting engaging digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive interfaces and experiences that meet user needs.
• Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including development and marketing.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to create innovative design ideas.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers on the team.
• Document user design guidelines and best practices to ensure design consistency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or UX Design

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in digital product design and UX

Technical Skills

• Usability Testing
• Figma and Adobe Suite

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
