Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join our team in Nelson Mandela Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Perform structural calculations and analyses as required.
• Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Contribute to planning and development of community infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus
• Professional registration with ECSA is essential

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Project Management
• AutoCAD
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Registration with ECSA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience working in a consulting role: Experience providing engineering consultancy services will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards in South Africa: Familiarity with local engineering codes and practices.
