Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care in Cape Town. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, administering treatment, and collaborating with medical teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop nursing care strategies.
  • Administer intravenous therapies and injections as necessary.
  • Record and report any significant changes in patient conditions.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve health goals.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and health management techniques.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and a high standard of care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Manage patient discharge processes and follow-up care.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Specialization in a nursing field is a plus
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting
