We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team in Durban. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems that enhance production efficiency. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop solutions to automate repetitive processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for automated equipment procurement.
• Participate in project planning and execution for automation initiatives.
• Provide insights for budget planning related to automation projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or control systems
