A propeller-driven airplane mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining propeller-driven aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for aviation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring every flight is secure.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mechanical assessments of aircraft systems.
  • Execute maintenance activities as per manufacturers' specifications.
  • Document all work performed and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in training junior mechanics.
  • Provide input on safety improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss aircraft readiness.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Ensure all maintenance logs are completed promptly.
  • Support the implementation of safety audits.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and practices.
Job Requirements
  • Valid Aircraft Mechanic license
  • Completion of relevant aviation maintenance training or apprenticeship
  • Mechanical aptitude Strong mechanical understanding and practical skills in maintenance.
  • Attention to detail Exceptional focus on detail to ensure safe and effective repairs.
  • Aircraft systems knowledge Deep understanding of aircraft systems and components.
  • Problem-solving Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Team collaboration Excellent interpersonal skills for working within a team.
  • Safety Management Systems (SMS) Certification
  • Basic Firefighting Certificate
  • English (Fluent)
