Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will design security measures and protocols to defend against potential cyber threats. This role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to rapidly respond to security incidents while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of corporate data by implementing strong security measures.
• Perform regular audits and assessments of security controls and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security policies into all aspects of the infrastructure.
• Train staff on security best practices and procedures to prevent security breaches.
• Document security incidents and responses for compliance and analysis.
• Participate in security incident response and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) are advantageous

• 3+ years of experience in IT security or a related field
