Architect

Job Description

As an Architect in our Cape Town office, you will be involved in all stages of the design process, from initial concept development to completion. This position requires creativity, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various aspects of design.
• Provide innovative solutions to architectural challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of architectural trends and technologies.
• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Oversee junior architects and interns, providing mentorship and guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Project Management
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• LEED certification: Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes.
• Familiarity with local building codes: Understanding of local codes and regulations affecting design.
