We are seeking a highly organized and energetic individual to join our team as a Pier Runner. You will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and managing the movement of cargo containers at the pier.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loading and unloading processes for various cargo types.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel for equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance safety and productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience at a pier or port is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Container handling equipment knowledge
• Cargo tracking systems proficiency

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with container handling equipment: Comfortable operating hoists and winches to manage cargo effectively.
• Valid driver's license: Essential for transporting goods within the port area.
