Responsibilities

• Advise clients on pet care and wellness.
• Diagnose and treat various small and large animal conditions.
• Provide emergency care when necessary.
• Educate staff and clients about animal health issues and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the physical condition of pets during treatment.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
• Assist in training junior veterinary staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
