Structural Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Designer to develop innovative design solutions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with architects and other engineers, bringing concepts to reality in a collaborative environment that values your creative input.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other engineering specialists to resolve design issues.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials for projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety and building regulations.
• Assist in project budgeting and cost estimating.
• Maintain detailed records of all engineering activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with green building practices: Knowledge of sustainable design principles in structural projects.
• Familiarity with soil mechanics: Understanding of soil properties and their impact on structure design.
