We are looking for an experienced Physician to enhance our services in Durban. In this key role, you will engage in comprehensive patient assessments, managing both acute and chronic illnesses, while working collaboratively with other medical professionals. Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical care in an efficient manner.
• Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain awareness of current medical practices and trends.
• Facilitate patient referrals to specialists as required.
• Engage with patients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate fellowship in a relevant specialty is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• Surgical skills
• Emergency care

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Fluency in additional South African languages: Proficiency in other local languages is advantageous for patient interaction.
