Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small animal surgery and medicine, dedicated to providing the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead surgical operations and post-operative care for animals.
  • Diagnose various medical issues and prescribe appropriate treatment plans.
  • Mentor junior veterinarians and interns in clinical practices.
  • Provide emergency care when necessary, handling high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with hygiene protocols.
  • Build relationships with clients, providing compassionate care and follow-up.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
  • Specialization in surgery is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary surgery and medicine
