Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our growing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both land surveying and project management, ensuring precision and quality in all surveying tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic surveys for land development projects.
• Prepare legal documents such as land leases and easements.
• Ensure quality control for all surveying outputs and deliverables.
• Coordinate with municipal authorities regarding property boundaries and zoning.
• Develop project timelines and communicate effectively with clients.
• Make recommendations based on survey findings to minimize discrepancies.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior surveying staff.
• Participate in client meetings to present survey results and discuss findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
• Professional licensure as a Surveyor is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying.

Certifications

• Registered Land Surveyor (RLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
