Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape design, land use planning, and environmental sustainability, contributing to projects that beautify and enhance urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan outdoor spaces that enhance environmental sustainability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute integrated designs.
• Conduct community engagement sessions to gather feedback on proposed designs.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure designs are executed as intended.
• Evaluate existing landscapes and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in landscape architecture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture or planning

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D Modelling Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team leadership

Certifications

• Registered Landscape Architect (RLA)
• Sustainable Landscape Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
