Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You'll be pivotal in designing and developing mechanical systems while collaborating on innovative projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a background in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production.
  • Implement process improvements in existing manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze problems and propose practical engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate on project specifications and scope definitions.
  • Conduct design reviews and present findings to management.
  • Develop maintenance procedures for mechanical systems.
  • Prepare budgets and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Training and supervising junior engineers.
  • Assist in developing project strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
