Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Medical Researcher to join our team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will conduct research to develop innovative health solutions and contribute to our mission of improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects from concept to completion.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns in research techniques.
• Conduct statistical analysis using software such as SPSS or R.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote research initiatives.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to translate research into practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in medical or clinical research

Technical Skills

• Research Design
• Statistical Software (SPSS, R)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong background in pharmacology: In-depth knowledge of pharmacological principles and drug development.
• Experience in patient recruitment for clinical trials: Successful track record in recruiting and managing study participants.
