Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Telecommunications Technician who will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our telecommunications systems in Durban. The successful candidate will work closely with both technical teams and clients, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any network issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Handle the setup and maintenance of communication equipment.
• Ensure optimal network performance through proactive monitoring.
• Manage inventory of telecommunications supplies and equipment.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss technical challenges and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
• Related certifications in telecommunications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in telecommunications systems installation and maintenance
