Job Description

We are seeking an Auditor to join our Johannesburg office who will be responsible for managing audits from planning through execution. You will provide critical analysis of financial data and help ensure the financial soundness of our clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with robust investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or fraudulent activities.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Mentor junior auditors and contribute to their professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of external audit experience

Technical Skills

• Tax Regulations Knowledge
• Advanced Excel Skills

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with risk management frameworks: Knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks relevant to auditing.
• Experience with forensic auditing: Experience in forensic investigation techniques and practices will be advantageous.
