As a Backend Developer in our Pretoria office, you will work collaboratively in a team environment to build innovative backend solutions. The ideal candidate should be adept at utilizing various backend languages and frameworks to produce high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable components for web applications using modern frameworks.
• Partner with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Test and deploy applications across various browsers and platforms.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout the application's interface.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in design, computer science or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in front-end development with a strong portfolio

Languages
