Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compile and submit financial reports in accordance with deadlines.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately.
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations monthly and quarterly.
• Assist management in preparing budgets and variance reports.
• Oversee compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems.
• Work closely with colleagues to support financial operations.
• Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes.
• Prepare reports for financial performance analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
