Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Petroleum Engineer in Rustenburg. You will apply engineering principles to improve extraction techniques, ensuring efficient and effective production. The role requires in-depth knowledge of geological formations and drilling practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to develop operational improvements.
• Perform reservoir characterization and modeling
• Evaluate economic feasibility of proposed projects.
• Prepare and oversee technical documentation for drilling operations.
• Ensure projects meet environmental and safety compliance standards.
• Maintain and manage relationships with external contractors and stakeholders.
• Present engineering findings to management and key stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced software for modelling and simulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related engineering disciplines
