Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project proposals to assess financial viability.
• Work closely with auditors during financial reviews.
• Participate in presentations to the executive team.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CIMA are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in corporate finance or similar roles

Technical Skills

• MS Excel
• Financial Software

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CFA or similar certifications
• CMA is highly regarded

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): Knowledge of IFRS standards is a plus.
• Strong Presentation Skills: Proficiency in public speaking and presentations for executive reports.
