Storekeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage our stock inventory efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate stock management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving and counting of stock items.
• Ensure proper labeling and signage for products in-store.
• Provide assistance during inventory stocktake periods.
• Support the Store Manager with other administrative tasks as required.
• Maintain records of all stock movements in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conduct regular evaluations of stock performance and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance overall store performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to inventory management.
• Address and resolve stock-related issues promptly.
• Foster a positive working environment within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Matric qualification or equivalent
• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in stock control or warehouse management

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Inventory Analysis Skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in Food Retail: Experience in managing stock in the food retail industry.
• Training in First Aid: Certification in first aid is beneficial.
